Holy Trinity Church recently held its annual animal blessing honoring Saint Francis of Assisi. Father Joseph Zalacca officiated over the blessing and handed out Saint Francis medals for the pets. With more than 50 pets and their owners, the committee treated every dog with treats and dog owner with pumpkin cookies. A collection was taken, to be donated to the Lakeshore Humane Society.
