JAMESTOWN - Parent Network of WNY announces several upcoming workshops. Parents who have children and/or young adults with special needs are encouraged to attend. These workshops will provide useful information, tips and strategies. All workshops offered are free of charge for families of individuals with disabilities. Tuesday - 6-8 p.m. IEP and Transition: Transition and the IEP will focus on the transition to adulthood components of the IEP. Information about the expectations of school, student, families and agencies will be provided.

Oct. 22 - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. ASD-Improving Social Challenges: Participants will learn about the social challenges for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and will discover strategies to use at home, school and within the community.
