Curves is hosting a Zumba Dance Party today in the Chautauqua Mall to benefit LINKS Charity and the local fight against breast cancer.
Registration is $7 per person and will begin at noon inside Curves. The Zumba dancing will take place outside Curves under the skylights from 1 to 3 p.m. and is designed by certified Zumba instructors for all ages and stages of fitness.
Earlier this year, LINKS Charity announced that it is once again taking a leadership role in the local fight against breast cancer by making a three-year, $300,000 pledge toward the purchase of 3-D Breast Tomosynthesis. This cutting-edge technology will compliment LINKS Charity's most recent gift ($275,000) to aid in the diagnosis of breast cancer through the purchase of Digital Mammography which is now operational in the WCA Center for Imaging & Medical Arts. LINKS Charity and WCA Hospital recognize that early detection means faster intervention, more treatment options, and improved survival rates.
