Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association
The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association met at the Association grounds in Stockton. The officers gave a full report on the August Antique Equipment Show. Attendance was up significantly from last year.
The advertising committee mentioned advanced notices needed for next year's show will be submitted to the Chautauqua Visitors' Bureau by Norman Carlson and to internet sites by Don Lauger.
President Ray Bulger reported 267 items have been inventoried in the association's collection. Bulger also appointed a committee to make plans for improving and winterizing the new pavilion.
The members voted to accept a donation of a frame from a truck mounted home make drag line. They also decided to hold the annual Christmas Party at the Stockton Fire Hall Dec. 3. The group discussed substituting a plow day or farm demonstration day for the gas-up party in the spring. No decision was reached.
The group will meet Tuesday in the Museum Building on the Stockton grounds at 7:30 p.m. The nominating committee will report.
