A woman on a bicycle was struck by a car on Friday afternoon around 4 p.m. in front of Walmart, closing one southbound lane of Route 60 for about an hour. The injured woman was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for a possible knee injury and evaluation of what a Fredonia police officer on the scene described as "minor injuries." The windshield of the vehicle was damaged where the impact of the bicyclist occurred.
