WILLIAMSTON, NC - Michael Anthony "Yankee" Triaga, Sr., 51, died October 15, 2012 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice after a lengthy illness. He was born in Dunkirk on July 28, 1961. The son of Joseph C. Triaga of Silver Creek, and Betty Jean Rogerson of Williamston, NC. Mr. Triaga was a truck driver for 32 years. He was a former vice president of Garden City Tractor Pulling Association. He attended Silver Creek Central School. He is survived by two sons; Michael Anthony Triaga, Jr. and Christopher
Andrew (Chasity) Triaga; his very cherished granddaughter, Beth Triaga, all of Williamston NC; brother, Joseph M. Triaga of Fredonia; sister, Trish T. (Preston) Watson of Williamston NC; brothers, Daniel J. (Lee) Triaga of Aliquippa, PA; Robert J. (Donna) of Sinclairville; sisters, Denise (Glen) Klotz of Borger TX; Patricia Newberry of Silver Creek and Alton (Cindy) Rogerson Jr. of Williamston NC; grandmother, Betty B. Rodgerson of Williamston NC and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his step-mother Margaret "Peggy" Persch Triaga of Silver Creek, paternal grandparents, Charles A. and Rose A.
