The annual Laona/town of Pomfret Halloween parade and party will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. The parade will start at the entrance to the Laona Cemetery and end at the playground at Porter Avenue.
There will be prizes given at the playground and there will be a haunted house. There will be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to the Easter egg hunt event.
All are welcome to attend. Those attending are reminded to dress accordingly to weather conditions.
