Mr. and Mrs. David (Susan) Ivett of Forestville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathi Jo Ballard, to Richard M. McMaster II. He is the son of Mr. and Mr. Rick (Kristy) McMaster of Linden, Va., and Sun McMaster of Kearneysville, W. Va.
The bride-to-be earned a bachelor of arts degree and a master of science degree in education, concentrating in English, from SUNY Fredonia. She is a seventh-grade English teacher at Warren County Middle School in Front Royal, Va.
Her fiance is currently working toward a business administration degree from Ashford University and is the general manager of Zinga! Frozen Yogurt in Gainesville, Va.
