Editor, OBSERVER:
With the political campaign coming to a close and Gov. Mitt Romney pulling ahead in some polls, the Obama campaign is pulling out all the stops in its "Kill Romney campaign."
The important topics this week are "Big Bird and Women's Binders." Taxpayers give NPR and "Sesame Street" $440 million a year. Big Bird and "Sesame Street" bring in close to a billion dollars each year. I'm sure Big Bird will do just fine.
When Gov. Romney was elected governor of Massachusetts he saw there were hardly any women working there, so he asked to see a women's binder. Left-wing women went crazy and were deeply offended. I'm sure the women who got a job in his administration because their names and resumes were in that binder weren't offended.
