Annamarie Ippolito

Annamarie Ippolito, 53, of Dunkirk, died Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2012, at the Chautauqua County Home, following a lengthy illness.

She was born November 10, 1958, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late John Giacchino and Athea (Desko) Towne.

A graduate of Dunkirk Senior High School, her memberships included St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church.

Annamarie was a sales associate at Walmart in Fredonia.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them as well as shopping and traveling.

Surviving are her children, Justin (Laura L.) Hyde of Silver Creek, Scott (Laura B.) Hyde, Zachary Ippolito, all of Lackawanna. A brother John "Jack" (Brenda) Giacchino of Brant; her beloved boyfriend of 8 years, Walter Rutland of Dunkirk; her canine companion "Yogi", along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Ippolito, who died December 21, 2003.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:30 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
