PIONEER - The No. 1 North Collins Eagles won their fourth straight Section 6 Class D high school soccer championship Friday with a 1-0 victory over No. 2 Ellicottville.

Todd Youngman netted the game winner 26 minutes into the first half off a centering feed from Jared Keppel. Youngman one-timed the pass into the net for the game-winner.

Kyle Loretto played a solid game in goal with eight saves to preserve the shutout.

Ellicottville tried to get the equalizer and hit the crossbar twice with eight minutes remaining.

The win marked the 26th Sectional title in the school's program.

"It's a nice tradition and the kids work hard," North Collins coach Jay Walters said. "We don't have football so they all come out for soccer."
