Accident tied to shoelace

New York State Police investigated a minor accident at Rite Aid on the corner of routes 60 and 20 on Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. According to police, the vehicle struck the building after the driver's shoelace interfered with the brake pedal. No injuries were sustained to the 76-year-old female driver or bystanders and no charges were filed.
