Some trick or treat hours changed
Area residents are reminded that Cassadaga, Gowanda and Perrysburg have changed trick or treating to today, Nov. 3.
Cassadaga's is 4-7 p.m. with the parade at the fire hall set for 7:30 p.m.
In Gowanda, trick or treating hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fire department will host a parade at 5 p.m.
In Perrysburg, trick or treating hours are 5-8 p.m.
Pucci's seminar to benefit American Cancer Society
Pucci's Carpet One Furniture and Bedding is celebrating 40 years in business by hosting a decorating seminar benefiting the American Cancer Society.
On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. decorator Sally Morse will give an entertaining and informative presentation on "The 10 steps to the perfect room."
Participants are urged to arrive early to take part in the raffles and give-aways. There's still time to register for this fun night of information, prizes and refreshments.

Special meeting set in Pine Valley
The Pine Valley Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. in the Board Conference Room (Room #5) at the Elementary School. Also, the Nov. 15 regularly scheduled meeting date has been changed to Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Board Conference Room.
