GOWANDA - Donald C. Wilson, 84, of Gowanda, NY passed away Friday (Nov. 2, 2012) at the Gowanda Nursing Home.
He was born Jan. 27, 1928 in Niagara Falls, Canada, the son of the late Donald and Ann (Robbie) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a WWII and Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy June Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was employed at Carrier Coach in Gowanda for many years. He was a member of the Gowanda American Legion Post #409 and the Gowanda VFW Post #5007.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Wilson of Kingman, Ariz., and Daniel Wilson of Venezuela; and two grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Donald Wilson.
Private family services will be held. Burial is in East Hill Cemetery in Otto, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY.
