Dunkirk schools are taking a stand against bullying. In the large group instruction room in the high school students' artwork adorned the walls during a recent board of education meeting. Superintendent Gary Cerne said the district is focusing on anti-bullying and respect. "We have a lot of great things going on in the district in regards to anti-bullying and the promotion of respect," he said. In the high school a group called Project H.O.P.E. is focused on the anti-bullying effort. In the middle school students recorded a video on what respect means to them, which can be viewed on the middle school website at www.dunkirkcsd.org/Domain/253.
