Troopers charge woman with DWI
POMFRET - On Saturday, troopers charged Kelsey Ptucha, 22, of Honeoye Falls for driving while intoxicated.
She was stopped on Route 60 for a reported inadequate brake lamp. She was processed at state police headquarters in Fredonia. The breath test she took there was reported to be .11 percent.
She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Pomfret Court in December.

FREWSBURG - Alison Newton, 19, of Frewsburg was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment in connection with a domestic dispute.
On Nov. 5, a trooper responded to Frewsburg where it was reported that Newton struck the victim twice and intentionally broke the window portion of a door at the residence. Newton fled the scene but was picked up the following day.
Newton is scheduled to appear in the Town of Carroll Court later this month.
GERRY - On Tuesday, Elijah Wrazen, 18, and Joshua Vanord, 18, both of Jamestown, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
A trooper pulled over a vehicle driven by Wrazen for failing to dim high beams. While speaking to the driver, the trooper reportedly observed a bag containing a small amount of marijuana in plain sight. Both Wrazen and the passenger, Vanord, were removed from the vehicle and the vehicle was searched.
The trooper reported finding a pill jar containing three grams of marijuana.
Both were issued appearance tickets and are to appear in the Town of Gerry Court at a later date.
On Friday, John Peterson, 28, of Falconer was charged with violation of probation and second-degree aggravated harassment.
In October, a trooper had responded to a residence in Frewsburg where the complainant reported receiving inappropriate text messages from Peterson. Investigators reported Peterson had also violated several terms of his probation.
Peterson was processed at state police barracks in Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of Carroll Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
FALCONER - On Sunday, Jesus Rosada Rivera, 18, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated. Rosada Rivera was pulled over on Tiffany Street for a reported traffic violation and reportedly failed several field sobriety tests.
He was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown where he provided a breath sample that was reported to be .11 percent. He was processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court and turned over to a sober individual.
FALCONER - On Sunday, Matthew Howard, 18, of Falconer, was charged with possessing alcohol under 21, unlawful possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
A trooper pulled over Howard's vehicle for excessive window tint. While speaking to Howard, the trooper reportedly observed a can of beer in the backseat. The trooper also reported finding a bag containing a gram of marijuana, a pipe containing marijuana residue and metal knuckles.
Howard was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown where he was processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court and released.
