Chautauqua County Sheriff's and the Fredonia Fire Department responded to a head-on collision on Fredonia-Stockton Road Monday around 6:10 p.m. According to a sheriff's deputy on the scene, two cars were involved in the collision. Both cars sustained damage to the front and one of the vehicles had come to rest in the ditch on the west side of the road. Both cars had to be towed from the scene. According to the deputy the two drivers and a passenger were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He said it was too early in the investigation to determine fault for the accident, but it was dark with pouring rain at the time of the accident. Traffic was detoured onto Hahn Road while the scene was cleared.
