State police charge Fredonia resident

On Oct. 4, troopers charged Alex Schmitten-dorf, 21, of Miller Drive in Angola following a one-car accident on State Route 438. Schmittendorf was traveling south of Versailles Plank Road when the accident occurred.
He was taken to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance and treated for facial lacerations. He is due in Collins Town Court to answer the charge. The Seneca Nation of Indians Marshals assisted troopers at the scene.
On Oct. 5, troopers charged Tracy Argentieri, 37, of Mackinaw Road in Buffalo for false impersonation. She reportedly used her sister's identity during a traffic stop in June. Her sister reported the incident to troopers after recently receiving a notice from Collins Town Court for the ticket. The investigation led them to Argentieri who is to answer the charge in Collins Town Court.
On Oct. 5, troopers charged Jason Marr, 42, of Main Street in Silver Creek for second-degree aggravated harassment following an incident on Oct. 3. Marr had already been charged with aggravated harassment. He reportedly texted his ex-girlfriend in an annoying manner. He was arraigned in Perrysburg Town Court and will answer the charge at a later date.
On Oct. 7, troopers charged James Luder, 42, of Allen Street Exit in Gowanda for fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, following a weeklong investigation.
On Oct. 2, troopers received a report from a local merchant regarding a possible stolen check. The merchant said a customer had sent the check for payment of an outstanding bill. The investigator reported that Luder came into possession of the $48 stolen check, recruited a friend to cash it for him at a local bank and took the remainder.
Luder will answer the charge in Persia Town Court.
BRANT - On Oct. 9, troopers charged Dominic Volpe, 19, of Thomas Lane in Angola for unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers stopped the car he was driving on State Route 5 and reportedly found him in possession of two pipes containing marijuana.
He is due in Brant Town Court.
