GOWANDA - Alberta B. Wade, age 101, formerly of South Water Street, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at the Randolph Manor, Randolph NY which she had called home for the past several years.
Born Alberta B. Brown on Sept. 7, 1911 in Randolph, NY, the daughter of Arch and Carrie (Tyrell) Brown.
Alberta married Benjamin Wade in Little Valley, NY Nov. 18, 1930 Ben passed away Nov. 13, 1982.

A therapy Aide for the State of California, Alberta's State Hospital employment spanned more than 30
years.
Aunt Bert, as many referred to her, enjoyed reading and playing Bingo. She also was an involved member of the Order of The Eastern Stars for many years.
Alberta is survived by many nieces, nephews along with great nieces and nephews, to name a few: Ken and Ann Wade of Perrysburg, Patricia (Bland) and Jerry Taber of Texas. William and James Gaylord, Darlene (Dominic) Capozzi, Mark and Diane Wilcox, Mike and Karen Sanchez.
Besides her parents and husband, Alberta was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Arthur Brown,
Isador Gaylord, Pauline Cox, Frances Rice and Althea Frame.
Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda, NY (716)-532-4200 from 6 to 8 o'clock p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15th where funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 16th at 11a.m.
Interment to follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice
