Dunkirk police make arrest, ask for assistance in stabbing

1 charged, another sought

City of Dunkirk Police have made one arrest and another subject is wanted in two separate stabbing incidents that occurred last week.

Christian Muller, 22, of Dunkirk was arrested Thursday by Dunkirk police and charged with second-degree assault after an investigation into the first stabbing incident that occurred on Central Avenue. Muller was arraigned before Judge Walter Drag and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $50,000 cash or $100,000 property bail.

Candido Pagan-Hernandez, 26, is wanted in connection with the second stabbing incident that occurred on Lincoln Avenue. After an investigation into the incident, an arrest warrant for first-degree assault was issued by Judge Drag. Pagan-Hernandez's last known address is 515 Main St., Dunkirk.

The stabbing incidents occurred on Nov. 9 between 3 and 4:30 p.m.
