Accident sends four to hospital in Hanover

The investigation is ongoing into a single car accident on Hanover Road in the town of Hanover.

At 12:44 p.m. on Saturday, the driver of a northbound vehicle lost control on the gravel shoulder causing the vehicle to overturn several times. One passenger in the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle, and one passenger was entrapped within the vehicle. Both passengers were flown to Erie County Medical Center with injuries.

A single car accident in the town of Hanover sent four people to the hospital Saturday.

The driver of the vehicle and a third passenger were taken by ambulance to Lake Shore Hospital with less severe injuries. Police did not release the names of those involved. The investigation is continuing.

This call was assisted by the Sheriff Office's Accident Reconstruction Team, New York State Police, Starflight, Mercy Flight, the Forestville Fire Department and the Silver Creek Fire Department.
