OLEAN - Are you feeling overwhelmed by the holiday season and caring for your loved one? Caregiver aged 60-plus, or anyone who cares for someone aged 60-plus, is welcome at a free Caregiver Relaxation Event.
The Cattaraugus County Department of Aging/NY Connects, in partnership with the Continental School of Beauty and Hello Gorgeous Salon and Spa, is offering special services free of charge for caregivers on Thursday, Nov. 29.
From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Continental School of Beauty in Olean is offering the following free services to caregivers: Scalp treatments, haircuts, facials, manicures and pedicures.
From 5 to 8 p.m., Hello Gorgeous Salon and Spa is offering the following free services to caregivers: Stress management techniques with Yoga Betsy, conditioning treatments, haircuts, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and soft tissue manipulation.
Every participant will receive a free gift bag. Refreshments will be provided at both events. Contact Stacy Lockwood-Hall at 373-8032 or smlockwood@cattco.org to register for one of the events. Registration must be completed by Monday.
