Christ Community Church in Fredonia was a hotspot this year for Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas Child is an organization that takes shoe boxes packed with toys and hygiene products and sends them to underprivileged children around the world.
At Christ Community Church, the Sunday School program and youth group packed 84 boxes.

Also, people and other churches in the community brought their shoe boxes to Christ Community Church on Berry Road, which served as the local drop-off location. A total of 769 boxes were loaded on a truck, provided by Pucci's Carpet and Furniture Store in Fredonia, and delivered to Park United Methodist Church in Sinclairville.
The boxes will then be distributed to children worldwide during the Christmas season.
