Josephine Jane (Seekings) and Ralph William Ward III were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2012, at 1 p.m. in a traditional double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Frank G. Torain and held at the Dunkirk Lighthouse in Dunkirk.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and William Seekings of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Karen Lynn Gilbert-Rivera of Fredonia.
The bride was escorted by her father. Bridal attendants included friend of the bride Rachel Trippy as honor attendant, sister of the groom Carrie Davis and cousin of the groom Shannon Delcamp as bridesmaids, Kiley Gilbert Rivera of Fredonia and Kathleen Delcamp of Stockton, sister and cousin of the groom, as junior bridesmaids, and Trisha and Miranda Delcamp of Stockton, cousins of the groom, as flowermaids. The bridal attendants wore canary yellow, A-line, strapless, satin floor-length gowns.

The groom's attendants included brother of the groom Timothy Ward as best man, brother of the bride Jason Seekings of Dunkirk and brother of the groom Buddy Priest of Cassadaga as groomsmen, brother of the groom Miley Gilbert-Rivera as junior usher, and great nephew of the bride Noah Gill of Dunkirk as the ring bearer. The party wore black double-breasted tuxedos with canary yellow pocket squares.
Music for the ceremony was performed by a string quartet, which included Dawn Giddings on the violin, Rachel Conklin on the violin, Arthur Lewis on the viola, and Brandan Codrington on the cello. All are from SUNY Fredonia.
A reception at Rookies on the Lake in Dunkirk followed the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia in Music Business and Communications. She is starting her own event planning business and is also involved in freelance musical management.
The groom is a graduate of NTTS and is currently employed by TMC Transportation.
Mr. and Mrs. William Ward III honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and returned to their home in Dunkirk.
