BROCTON - Dorothy (Ossman) Walker, age 85, of Miller St., Gowanda, formerly of Brocton and Westfield, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gowanda, NY. Dorothy was born on November 21, 1926 in Westfield, NY the daughter of the late Herman and Agnes (Skelton) Ossman,
Sr. A graduate of Mayville High School, she was a resident of Westfield and Brocton most all her life. Dorothy had been employed at the former Kling Furniture in Mayville, the former Murray Hill Hotel and at the former Barmon Brothers Sewing factory, both in Westfield. She had also been self-employed as a housekeeper for several area families. Dorothy was an animal lover who cherished her cats named Precious. She is survived by her sister, Mary Bielak of Wattsburg, PA and her four
brothers, Paul Ossman of Dunkirk, NY, Floyd "Bud' Ossman of Pasco, WA, Fred Ossman of Brocton and Leo Ossman of Rehoboth Beach, DE, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walker, her sister, Betty Overlander, and her brother, Herman Ossman, Jr. Friends are invited to
