Florence Jakubowski Lasecki

Florence Jakubowski Lasecki, 87, of Dunkirk, died peacefully Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Gowanda Rehab and Nursing Home. She was born on June 6, 1925 in Sheridan, NY, the daughter of the late John and Mary Jakubowski. She married her late husband Roman Lasecki in 1943 and has since owned and operated Lasecki

Farms. She has been a member and grape grower for the National Grape Co-op Association Inc. (Welsh's) since its start in 1945. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards with her family, playing with her great-grandchildren and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include three daughters: Shirley Taby, Diane (William) Ott, and Linda (Richard) Amidon, all of Fredonia, NY; her eight grandchildren Tamara (Daniel) Durant, Kimberly (Mark) Minnick, Timothy (Kelly) Taby, Jennifer (Philip) Berdyck, Terri (James) Cummings, Tina (Shawn) Steger, Douglas (Tara) Amidon and Mark (Tara) Amidon. Seven great-grandchildren also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roman, her parents, seven siblings, and son-in-law Timothy Taby. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of
