Chester L. Voss, 79, of Park Avenue, Dunkirk, NY, died Monday (Nov. 26, 2012) at UPMC-Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was born in Dunkirk on Dec. 20, 1932, the son of the late Leo and Helen (Wesolowski) Voss.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Mr. Voss was a re-tired commercial fisherman.
Surviving are his sisters, Dolores Lack, Rita Daniels, Evelyn Lanski and Marie Rettig, all of Dunkirk; and his brother, James Voss of Steger, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Walter Voss; and two sisters, Louise Rasmus and Phyllis Balzer.
Private interment services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements are by the Newman Funeral Home Inc.
