The Barker-Higbee Store, located at 222 Central Ave., Dunkirk has opened under new ownership. Bob Masiker of Cassadaga, owner of Mas-Com on Bennett Road, has decided to retain the Barker-Higbee name. He bought the store from a corporation directed by Ernest Higbee. Mr. Masiker said he had worked at the store 10 years ago and had wanted it ever since.
