Bruce F. Ehman Jr. of Ellicottville, NY died Thurs-day (Nov. 29, 2012) at Buffalo General Hospital.
He was born in Olean, NY on July 8, 1948, the son of the late Bruce F. Sr. and Marjorie G. (Goodemote) Ehman.
Bruce had served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as an electrician for NRG in Dunkirk, NY.
A member of St. John the Baptist Church in West Valley, NY, Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club in Dunkirk, Ellicottville American Legion and the Ellicottville Gun Club, he enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila (Scharf) Ehman, whom he married Sept. 13, 1969 in West Valley, NY; daughters Jena (Guy) Hock of Seneca Falls, NY and Erin (Erich) Douglas of Meadville, Pa.; grandchildren Tyler Kuell, Tessa Hock and Addison Douglas; brother John (Jean) Ehman of Olean; and sister Barbara (Jack) Dickinson of Sunbury, Pa.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Ford; and a brother, James Ehman.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, Springville. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in West Valley, NY.
