Jessica Snell of Stockton and Kevin Derr of Mt. Airy. Md., announce their engagement. Snell is is the daughter of David and Kay Snell, and the granddaughter of Willis Snell, all of Stockton. Derr is the son of Gary and Sue Derr of Mt. Airy.
The couple are attending Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Va.
A wedding is planned for summer 2013.
