The Steelers once again skated to a 1-1 tie.
Scoring the lone goal for Fredonia was Austin Rott, assisted by Nicholas Frazier and Cooper Harris who sent the puck on a hard shot from the blue line.
Strong defense was played by Zach Korzeniewski and Jack Storm.
Keeping the game close was Steelers goaltender Hunter Hehir.

Adult Floor
Hockey meeting
The adult Men's Floor Hockey League sponsored by the City of Dunkirk's Recreation Department has scheduled its organizational meeting for Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. in the second floor conference room at City Hall.
League rules, schedules, playoffs and starting date will be decided at this meeting. Games will be played at the Recreation Center in the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds.

There will be no meeting for City League Basketball.
Fredonia-Pomfret Rec Dept. Winter Program
The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department announced activities for its Winter Program.
Monday Evening Basketball: This will be for boys and girls in grades 2-4 from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration will take place on Monday, Dec. 10, starting at 6 p.m. in the Fredonia Elementary Gym.
Wednesday Evening Basketball: This will be for boys and girls in grades 5-8 from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration will take place on Wednesday Dec. 12, starting at 6 p.m. in the Fredonia Elementary Gym.
Youth Wrestling: This program is for Village and Town residents ages 5-12 and will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:50-7:30 p.m. in the Fredonia Elementary Gym. Registration will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 11, starting at 5:30 p.m. Any interested participants must bring proof of age and a $5 fee.
Game Room: A supervised game room will run concurrently with the youth basketball programs on Monday and Wednesday evenings. A variety of games will be provided, but Village and Town residents are encouraged to bring their own as well. No registration is required for the game room and all Village and Town residents are welcome to attend.
Community Ice Skating: Residents of Fredonia and Pomfret and their families are invited to attend free ice skating sessions at the Steele Hall Ice Arena on the Fredonia State Campus. If skate rental is necessary, there will be a $4 fee. Dates reserved are Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Dec. 30, and also every Saturday and Sunday in January and February. The time for all sessions is from 9-10 a.m.
