OBSERVER Staff Report
Police in the village of Fredonia are advising the public of several complaints of larceny or attempted larceny of property from parked vehicles.
The complaints were received from several locations throughout the village, indicating no set pattern. On two occasions, complainants reported security lights were loosened or removed. Police conducted an area search, but were unable to locate the subject.
Police are advising residents during the holiday season to not leave valuables in their vehicles, and to properly secure vehicles when not in use. Suspicious activity should be immediately reported to the police department by calling 679-1531 or by dialing 911.
