WESTFIELD - With the holidays in sight, people often want to remember a family member or good friend who is no longer with them. And, then there are friends who are still around and play an important part in an individual's life and in the lives of the county or country.
The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation suggests that community members bequeath a memorial in his or her name, not just to remember the deceased but also to pay tribute to that certain friend. Or, maybe an organization has contributed something that has touched many lives. Contributions will not only be acknowledged publicly, but it also will help to reach this year's campaign goal.
