SHERIDAN - Liberty Vineyards & Winery, of Sheridan, in conjunction with 3C's Catering of Kennedy, is planning a Holiday Wine and Food Pairing Event for Saturday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
"The event will consist of five food and wine pairing stations, so guests can mingle and taste at their own pace," Beth Margolis, Marketing and Special Events director at the winery explained. "We expect this evening to be fun and informative and hope our guests leave ready to experiment with wine and food pairings at home - perhaps guests can incorporate some of the wine and food pairings into their own Christmas and holiday season gatherings."
Each station will consist of one or more finger foods paired with a complementary Liberty Vineyards' wine. The first station will include cheese, pepperoni and crackers with a Liberty wine tasting, the second will feature Caprese Salad Skewers and Greek Salad Skewers paired with Sparkling Riesling. Zucchini-Mushroom Bisque paired with your choice of Trifection or Pinot Grigio will be featured at the third station. At the fourth station, guests will enjoy Chicken Wing Dip and Pulled Pork Sliders paired with Purple Haze and Reds, Whites & Blues. The dessert station will include Cheesecake Bites, Fresh Fruit and Christmas Cookies paired with Chocolette wine.

The cost of the event is $26.50 plus tax per person pre-sale and $29.50 plus tax per person at the door. Space is limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets pre-sale or call ahead for availability.
