SILVER CREEK - Billy Brooks recorded a triple-double in leading the Silver Creek Black Knights to a 69-42 victory over Westfield on Wednesday in boys non-league basketball action.
The 6-foot-7 inch sophomore scored 12 points, pulled down 15 boards and blocked 11 shots.
"We expected defense out of him," Silver Creek coach Rob Genco said. "We expected him to get rebounds with his size. He is very aggressive defensively. He attacks when he rebounds. He is still learning and growing as a player. When everything comes together, he has the potential every night to have triple-double."
