Black?Knights continue to dominate bowling league

JAMESTOWN - Tim Manning cracked a 252-655 to lead the Silver Creek Black Knights (11-1) past Randolph (7-9), 4-0.

Silver Creek's linescore read 783-820-820-2,423 while Randolph shot a 736-747-774-2,257.

Tyler Steklasa cracked a 508 in the win.

For the girls, Silver Creek (10-2) downed Randolph (7-5), 3-1.

The Black Knights shot a 575-574-576-1,725 while Randolph bowled a 588-569-542-1,699.

Katie Dittiger led Silver Creek with a 446.

Dunkirk, Jamestown bowl to tie

JAMESTOWN - The Dunkirk Marauders split in both the boys and girls matches Wednesday in CCAA Division 1 high school bowling.

For the boys Jamestown (6-2) rolled a 895-880-853-2,628 while Dunkirk (2-6) finished with a 825-890-909-2,624 at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Alex Kubera cracked a 622 series while E.J. Haase added a 527 and Peter Kubera finished with a 505 .

For the girls, Jamestown (6-2) rolled a 647-649-724-2020 while Dunkirk (3-5) combined for a 660-696-640-1,997.

A.J. Pencek led Dunkirk with a 453.

Gowanda boys, Fredonia girls prevail

GOWANDA - The Gowanda boys bowling team (8-0) had an impressive sweep of the Fredonia Hillbillies.

Gowanda cracked a 963-920-1,004-2,887 while Fredonia finished with a solid 932-776-833-2,541.

The Panthers were led by Justin Grimm's 220-198-254-672 and Jordan Schindler's 207-213-150-570. Jake Hansen- Ivett rolled a 215 game while Todd Wingard had a 240 game.

The Hillbillies received a 216-174-186-576 from Jake Seymczak Ricky Burgstrom rolled a 217-158-153-528 and Collin Schanzlin had a 191 game in defeat,

For the girls, the Lady Hillbillies pulled out a 3-1 victory.

Fredonia's linescore read 27-789-863-2,479 while Gowanda combined for a 694-801-745-2,240.

Morgan Dispense led the Lady Hillbillies (6-2) with a 158-172-199-529 while Marionnna Witsie shot a 133-190-167-490. Genna Riddle bowled a 125-157-179-461 while Taryn Wojtkowiak added a 230 game and Maitland Langworthy shot a 181 game.

The Lady Panthers (4-4) were led by Malyssa Farley's 155-178-195-528 and Brittnee Stelley's 163-179-179-521. Laura Gurney rolled a 168 game and Danielle Lesefske charted a 173.

Lady T'birds, Lady Pirates deadlocked

CUTTING - The Chautauqua Lake Lady Thunderbirds (3-9) and Clymer Lady Pirates (2-10) rolled to a 2-2 tie in Division 2 bowling action.

Chautauqua Lake's linescore read 508-440-445-1,393 while Clymer rolled a 466-519-424-1,409.

Heather Sullivan led the Lady Thunderbirds with a 147-178-455 while Emily Paulus had a 126 and Jess Parment shot a 121.

In the boys' match, Clymer (4-8) swept Chautauqua Lake (0-12), 4-0.

Clymer shot a 598-737-721-2,056 while Chautauqua Lake shot a 441-431-409-1,281.
