Gowanda edges Randolph, 46-35

RANDOLPH - Each team had five pins, but Gowanda came up with enough points to top Randolph (1-1), 46-35.

The turning point of the match was when Lucas McKeever picked up a pin at 138 to give the Panthers a 39-29 lead over the Cardinals.

In addition to McKeever, Vince Thompson (195), Darren Snow (99) and John Flynn (120) and Kevin Frederickson (132) also had pins for Gowanda.

The Randolph pins were by Jimmy Carr (182), Jeff Andrews (220), Patt Kibbee (285), Ben Klinger (126) and Chris Doubek (160).

Doubek's pin was the quickest of the night in 16 seconds and Klinger's was in 44 seconds.
