Trinity Episcopal Church Women announce the Christmas Cookie Plate Sale will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, beginning at 9 a.m., in Garland Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Day St., Fredonia. Those attending are directed to use the rear entrance.
This yearly event is a favorite among many. Choose from many "one of a kind plates" filled with a wide assortment of cookie treats for the holidays. This plate is the perfect offering as a hostess gift, to take to an office gathering or to share with a neighbor. These plates don't last long so patrons are advised to be there as close to 9 a.m. as possible. This cost this year will be $6 per plate. There will be a limited number of sweet bread loaves and fruit tarts available.
For the first time, plates can be preordered by calling the church office only on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, 679-7901. All preordered plates must be picked up by 11 a.m. on Friday, if they are not they will be released for general sale.
