EVANS - The Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce announces its 2012-2013 Small Business Education seminars. These will be held on the third Thursday of the month at the Evans Historical Society/1857 Museum, located at 8351 Erie Road (Route 5) at the corner of in the town of Evans. Each seminar is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m.; refreshments served.
The first seminar will be held on Dec. 13, regarding financial advice for business owners. The topics are: managing current cash flow, investment strategies for business assets and employees, savings and planning for retirement and retirement health care costs. The speakers are financial advisors Salvatore D. Gandolfo, The Kane Fasanello Group and James C. Kranz, Merrill Lynch.
Future dates and topics include Facebook for small business and new member benefit introduction (coupons) on Jan. 17; using your greatest assets your employees to advance your business on Feb. 21; customer service. What does it really mean for your business? on March 14; and talent acquisition and retention in 2013 HR strategies for a productive workforce on April 18.
