The OBSERVER

SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Kiwanis Club made a generous donation to the Anderson-Lee Library in support of the annual summer reading program. The grant will allow the library to purchase new children's books, and provide fun and educational programming for children from June through August 2013.

The summer reading program kicks off in mid-June with the Children's Fair and runs through the end of August. All school-age children from Silver Creek, Forestville, Sheridan and Hanover are welcome to participate in the program which includes new books, reading programs and activities, contests, entertainment, and a variety of prizes. The library will host magicians, puppeteers, and other guests for everyone's enjoyment.
