Angola Community Christmas Carol Sing set

December 13, 2012
The OBSERVER

ANGOLA - The Angola Park and Gazebo Committee, in cooperation with the Lake Shore Association of Christian Churches, is again sponsoring the annual Community Christmas Carol Sing. The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20 at the gazebo in Angola's Centennial Park.

Barry Kietsch, a retired choral director from Lake Shore Central Schools, will lead the program. A brass ensemble from the high school will provide the music. Song sheets will be given to all who come to the park.

Following the singing, all participants are invited to Updyke Hall in the First Congregational United Church of Christ on North Main Street where complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served. In the case of very inclement weather, the entire program will be held at the church.

All are welcome to attend and participate in this year's Community Christmas Carol Sing, a tradition that is in its 27th year.

Members of the Park and Gazebo Committee have placed decorations on the gazebo, as they have in the past.
