Fredonia Police Department
Timothy M. Taylor, 36, of Silver Creek was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated BAC .18 or more, DWI, speeding and failure to keep right on Dec. 2. At 2:56 a.m. police observed Taylor speeding on East Main Street and crossing the center line. Taylor appeared intoxicated when pulled over and failed several field sobriety tests. It was found he had a .22 BAC. He was released on his own recognizance.
James J. Privateer, 24, of Forest Place was charged with operating a motor vehicle with .08 or more BAC, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to use an interlock device and failure to use designated lane on Dec. 1. At 11:59 p.m. police received a phone call reporting a hit and run accident on Birchwood Drive. The victim gave a description and license plate of the vehicle to police. Police pulled over that vehicle with Privateer as the driver on Temple Street. He failed several sobriety tests and was found to have a .09 BAC. He was held pending arraignment.
Carl N. Zarcone, 20, and Samuel J. Simpson, 19, both of Grissom Hall, SUNY Fredonia were charged with having an open container, littering and unlawful possession of alcohol on Dec. 1. Police observed the two males standing on the corner of Temple Street and Maple Avenue with open containers which they both threw on the ground. Both were released on appearance tickets.
Donald J. Neamon, 30, of Eagle Street was charged with having an open container on Dec. 4. Police observed Neamon on Water Street with an open container at 1:33 a.m. Neamon tried to conceal the container when police approached. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Travis L. Lanneaux, 25, of Berry Road was charged on a warrant on Dec. 5. Lanneaux was brought to Fredonia Police by Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear. He was held at Fredonia Police.
