.....Thomas Braunscheidel, principal of St. Francis High School, recently announced the Honor Roll of students who achieved academic honors for the first quarter of the 2012-2013 school year. First Honors are awarded to students achieving a weighted Grade Point Average of 95-100 while Second Honors are given to students averaging 90-94.990. Several local students made the Honor Roll. They are as follows:
First Honors: Christian R. Prechtl (Dunkirk) and Trajen C. Cracium (Fredonia).
Second Honors: Hans F. Schober (Dunkirk), Ryan C. Deas, Matthew S. Pantano and Jacob E. Redfield (Fredonia).....
.....Carin Pracht of Gowanda was inducted into Ithaca College's Oracle Honor Society. Pracht is a health care management major in the college's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. First-year students who maintain a GPA that puts them in the top 10 percent of all students in their school throughout their first full academic year are invited into the society......
