FALCONER - The Fredonia Lady Hillbillies went on a 16-6 third-quarter run on their way to a 47-40 CCAA Division 1 basketball victory over Falconer on Friday night.
The Lady Golden Falcons held a 21-20 advantage at halftime before Fredonia went on its run.
Morgan Genovese led Fredonia with 15 points and Alicia Deering added 12.

For Falconer, Shannon Gunnell had 18 points and completed the double-double with 11 rebounds. Alyssa Brooks also had 11 boards, Emma Steele added five assists and Bre McFall had two steals.
