Jamestown man faces numerous charges

December 17, 2012
The OBSERVER

BUSTI - On Saturday, Michael A.C. Davis, 28, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, refusing a breath test, open container of alcohol, failure to keep right, driving across hazard markings, and moving from lane unsafely.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's patrol stopped Davis because he was reportedly driving erratically on Forest Avenue Extension. They report he was intoxicated and driving on a suspended non-driver identification. An open alcoholic beverage was observed in Davis' vehicle.

Davis refused a breath test and chemical testing. Officers report a record check showed him to have an outstanding warrant issued by the Chautauqua County Family Court for failure to pay child support, and warrants out of the City of Jamestown for other charges.

Davis was taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Busti Court on the traffic charges as well as the Family Court warrant. Bail was set at $3500 and Davis was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
