Mr. Samuel E. DelPopolo, owner/lic-ensed real estate broker of D&F Real Estate which has served the area for 16 years, has been elected President of the Greater Jamestown Board of Realtors by his peers to represent the group in 1993. The Board consists of over 30 real estate companies and more than 300 licensed real estate sales people.
Thirty years ago - 1982
Thomas W. White was recently notified that he passed the New York State bar examination. Mr. White, who has been working in the law office of Frank J. Militello in Forestville since 1981, is a graduate of Fredonia State University College and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he graduated cum laude and received his juris doctor in May 1982. Mr. White resides in Forestville.

It was announced today that Dunkirk ranks 55th from the top in a comparison of full value real estate tax rates in 60 upstate cities.
Fifty years ago - 1962
The Capitol Theater in Dunkirk and the Winter Garden Theater in Fredonia will reopen later this week. Both have been closed due to the business slack during the Christmas shopping season.
