The Veterans Park in Stockton shows Christmas spirit as it welcomes residents and visitors alike. The Town of Stockton Planning Board is again holding a townwide community Christmas lighting contest. Entry is free. Applications are available at the Stockton Library or the Town Clerk's Office. Please return applications by 5 p.m. on Thursday to the town hall, Stockton library or the library book dropoff. Judging will take place at 6 p.m. on or after Dec. 23. Cassadaga is part of Stockton, so village residents are welcome to participate.
