Lions Club presents President’s Appreciation Award

December 20, 2012
The OBSERVER

EVANS - Immediate past President Lion Sam Lomando selected the members of the Evans Town Board to receive the Lions Club President's Appreciation Award, which is given in recognition of their dedication and community service. Lions clubs worldwide serve their respective communities and also recognize non-members for their community service. This is demonstrated by this award and the simple motto of all Lions Clubs: "We Serve."

Supervisor Dash accepted the "President's Appreciation Award" on behalf of the members of the Evans Town Board at the Lions Club dinner meeting. Plans were made for Dash to present the plaque at a future town board meeting.

Lions Club membership is open to all adults. For more information, go to www.evanslions.org, or talk to any member listed on the website. Interested persons can also write to: Evans Township Lions Club, Inc., P.O. Box 342, Angola, N.Y., 14006.
