FORESTVILLE- The Maple Grove Red Dragons (4-1, 2-0) got off to a hot start with a 28-point first quarter and were able to roll over the Forestville Hornets (3-4, 1-1) with an 80-39 victory in CCAA?Division 3 basketball.
Leading the way for the Red Dragons was Aaron Germaine, who led all scorers with 30 points and eight boards in the win.

After building a 28-8 lead through the first eight minutes of the game, the visitors did not back down in the second quarter as they poured in another 23 points to Forestville's seven.
Will Soffel also had a big night with 22 points, while Austin Goerke chipped in with a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards.
Forestville did get a big game from Caleb Makuch who led the team with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Jacob Nosbich had 10 points.
Wayne Hartloff also added eight points and eight boards in the loss.
Both teams will be off until the new year and look to continue to build upon their early season success.
Westfield handles Chautauqua Lake, 53-37
MAYVILLE- The Westfield Wolverines (2-3, 1-0) picked up their first divisional win on Thursday as they downed the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds (1-4, 0-2) with a 53-37 win in a CCAA?Division 3 boy's basketball matchup.
The Wolverines got off to a hot start as they outscored their opponent 10-5 in the first quarter and 13-4 in the second.
Leading the way for Westfield was Jacob Grey who had 14 points and seven boards, while Jon Coe chipped in with a double-double 12 points and 13 boards.
Chautauqua Lake's Ian Clute led all scorers with 17 points, while also pulling down 13 boards.
As a team the Wolverines outrebounded the Thunderbirds 38 to 29.
