Cornerstone UMW, Inc., recently met at Gerry United Methodist Church with Debbie Hamlin leading worship with her guitar, singing and inspirational thoughts.
President Martisue Terhune led a litany for group involvement titled "Beatitudes of a Leader." Leona Peterson, conference treasurer, shared the new structure of UMW,Inc. being separate from Global Board of General Missions. Book kits were available to borrow and include a variety of categories for reading. Mission Today qualifications were reviewed. Social Action ideas were shared. United Methodist Women look forward to helping locally and wherever needed.
The Executive Committee met after lunch to plan the calendar for the upcoming year. To include donations for this year, contact Mary Griffith, Cornerstone district treasurer, 483-3055.
